Bohéme Fragrances
Sadaf Kherani founded Bohéme Fragrances to evoke memories of our most cherished adventures in life. Their candles are made in small batches and uses only the finest quality ingredients, such as custom-crafted oils, cotton wicks, and all natural wax. Their muse is the Bohéme Woman - an adventurous free-spirit who is always true to herself.
Brooklyn Candle
Tamara Mayne is the brilliant woman behind the captivating scents of Brooklyn Candle. Armed with nothing more than a kit from a local craft store, she began making candles as gifts for friends & family in 2012 and soon launched Brooklyn Candle Studio in 2013. Their mission is to create everything we love about luxury candles but at accessible prices. They use 100% soy wax derived from American-grown soy beans for an eco-friendly, clean burn and lead-free cotton wicks. Each candle is wicked, poured, and labeled by hand by their in-house team of artisans.
Campo
Founded by childhood best friends, Jessica Frandson and Jill King, CAMPO is a modern aromatherapy company that believes wellness is the new luxury. They’ve scoured across the globe to find the highest quality 100% natural oils with the most intoxicating scents, knockout healing powers, and active beauty benefits. Oils are responsibly harvested and hand created in sunny California.
Candlefish
Ever proud King Street tenants, Candlefish boasts a 100 scent library with fragrance notes curated for every candle lover out there. Specializing in fragrance exploration, their 100% soy wax candles are hand-poured in Charleston, South Carolina. Adam Fetsch is not only the man behind Candlefish but also the founder of popular candle brand Rewined, known for its signature recycled wine bottle jars and wine-inspired scents. Adam also impressively co-founded an organization called Corpus Callosum that help kids understand the importance of what they’re learning, by applying concepts to business.
Deux Cranes
Handcrafted in Los Gatos by French-trained chocolatier Michiko Marron-Kibbey, Deux Cranes is a nod to her Japanese heritage and flavors of her youth. Signature flavors include Milk Chocolate with Ginger, Sesame, and Buckwheat or Vegan Matcha Almond. Through Deux Cranes, we hope to create a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese philosophy of taking the time to appreciate the little things that make life so full.
Fair + Simple
Molly Accord is the heart and soul of Fair + Simple. Founded on a simple goal to create jobs for people in marginalized areas of need. Not just any job, jobs with fair living wages in safe work environments which respect and dignify artisans rather than exploit and compromise. The people who make the products in the collection are the heartbeat of the company, not just a means to an end. Portions of the profits goes to the Made by Women Fund supports women artisans and makers through skill development, proper equipment, and education so their businesses can flourish.
Frankie + Claude
A thoughtfully designed stationery and lifestyle brand, based in Portland, with one goal of bringing a little more color and humor into your everyday life. Samantha Bearbower founded Frankie + Claude when she took a leap of faith in turning her weekend hobby of designing stationery into a full-fledged business. It’s been amazing to see the journey of one woman’s journey that started on the kitchen countertops of a tiny studio apartment and has blossomed into a thriving business.
Hummingbird Candle Co.
Tianna Dean launched Hummingbird in January 2019. Her husband just retired from the US ARMY after 21 years of service and followed his dream of being an entrepreneur and wood furniture maker. Tianna quickly realized that they both needed to be invested in order to make their business work but she wanted to make her own mark. Tianna always had a huge heart for the environment and she wanted to create a candle that would not only be good for the environment but also not be filled with harmful ingredients. Her mission was to marry her love of empowering women and the environment - in a sustainable way. Tianna came through and created her own coconut wax candles, hand-poured by women in their local community. Every month they donate to organizations that support women locally and globally.
Loria Stern
Based in Los Angeles, Loria’s edible botanical creations have been celebrated by Vogue, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Oprah - just to name a few. She harvests the flowers from her own flower garden and works alongside local farmers to source seasonal and organic produce to make her plant-based creations. Loria celebrates the nutritional and inherent aesthetic beauty of the products she works with.
Kitsby
Inspired by childhood memories of baking past days, Kitsby (Kits-by-you) was created to bring people closer through sharing sweet moments. They believe that good food becomes great food because of the meaningful experiences shared in the kitchen and at the table. Amy Hsiao is the founder of Kitsby and owns an Asian-inspired dessert bar in New York!
Klei
Valerie founded Klei back in 2017 while working full-time as a buyer & planner in the fashion industry in NYC. Motivated by the fact that her industry was responsible for up to 10% of the global carbon dioxide output - more than international flights and shipping combined - Klei was born out of the vision for sustainable self-care. Klei's founding principles include being earth-friendly and low waste. Taking a page out of her book and making use of their mantra to make every day a self-care Sunday.
Palermo Body
The philosophy behind Palermo Body began with Jessica Morelli’s Nonna Vincenza. Her Nonna lived her entire life based on the foundation of natural holistic living while ingraining this value and tradition on Jessica. Palermo Body’s products were inspired by her Nonna’s natural remedies and the company was named after the city where her grandmother was born. Unique formulas, beautifully designed packaging, and ingredients sourced in an environmentally conscious way. Each product is made and packaged with attention and style in Brooklyn, New York.
Simple Self
We all know how hard it can be to prioritize self-care. Marylyn Davis sought to create a holistic approach to planning with the belief that our lives are so much more than just a to-do list. Thus, The Self Care Planner is the only planner that prioritizes the activities to fill your cup so that you are in a position to vigorously go after your goals every day. Founded on a simple principle that when you prioritize the activities that make you feel amazing, you’re setting yourself up to succeed. Extra bonus points for being 100% sustainably made in Los Angeles. Simple Self is proud to be one of the few stationary companies that support US-based printers and manufacturers. By supporting a small women-owned business, we are also supporting the Los Angeleno craftspeople who hand-assemble each and every product.
Slow North
Michelle and Jon Simmons were motivated to create products that boasted of honest ingredients. Slow North started with a line of plant-based candles that was only meant to be a hands-off side project and quickly gained a following that helped turn their backyard operation to a full storefront & studio space in Austin. The heart of Slow North beats to a daily reminder to be present and intentional. This core value is reflected in all that they do - in their homes and in their products.
Valerie Confections
Founded in 2004 by Los Angeles chocolatier Valerie Gordon and partner Stan Weightman Jr., Valerie Confections was quickly recognized as one of the top artisan confectioners in the country. With a cult-like following, Valerie Confections’ modern interpretation of classic chocolates are made with the very best, all-natural ingredients. They are a staple in the Echo Park community and their seasonal flavors and gift sets are a staple for our XO, Box offerings.
